Decibel Hackathon
Slowly the Decibel hackathon in Darmstadt, Germany is coming to an end. We had two really interesting days of hacking, chatting, hashing out ideas and explaining the various technologies we are working on. This event, sponsored by NL.net and basysKom GmbH, was focused on integrating various technologies like Akonadi, Khalkhi, Decibel and Kopete for KDE 4(.x?), defining how contact data is passed around and used by the systems involved.
We took a group photo (left to right: Duncan Mac-Vicar (kopete), Friedrich Kossebau (Khalkhi), Will Stephenson (Kopete), Tobias Hunger (Decibel), Konqui (chairperson), Volker Krause (Akonadi), Stanislav Karchebny (Skype), Dominik Haumann(Kate), Photo taken by Geert Vlastuin) already.

I think it was well organised.
And hope to give more help in the future to make this project to a success, perhaps it will be best for the moment to involve myself in the documentation off this project.
I like to get info about that, and about the requirements off this.
Furthermore I like to thank everybody for there help and support especially Tobias Hunger and Frau Eva Brucherseifer, for giving me
this opportunity to get involved in this project.
And i am open for suggestion`s to what it can be for me to help in any way.
Geert.

It is so nice to hear that it is working at the moment and I am jealous not to be able to use it end test it yet.Congratulations to you all!
However I do have a suggestion, could it be possible to use the language dictionair`s in the IRQ like jabber and the other application`s, I think it will improve the conversation skills of the various user`s and make improvement to decibel.
While like now it is often bad language on The channels.
Just a suggestion.
